This is what happens when a fellow wedding vendor has a wedding…
Hey there, let me share with you the beautiful story of Jacquie and Gary’s wedding day at Kirigin Cellar located in Morgan Hill! I had the pleasure of photographing their special day, and it was nothing short of magical.
I arrived at the cozy Airbnb in Morgan Hill where Jacquie and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Jacquie, along with her friend Hilary, who’s a talented florist, are well-known in the Bay Area wedding scene. It was an honor for me to capture their big day. Jacquie was meticulous about the details, so I spent extra time capturing those special moments, especially the lovely flat lay shots outside in the warm sunshine. Jacquie even had thoughtful gifts for her bridesmaids and mother, personalized with their names – such a sweet touch!
Afterwards, I headed over to Kiring Cellars in Morgan Hill to catch up with Gary and his groomsmen. Jason, Hilary’s husband, was lending a hand with the floral arrangements, and the venue was looking stunning thanks to Sydney Camille Events. With a smaller bridal party, I had the chance to take my time with the shots, which was a refreshing change of pace. Meanwhile, Jacquie was in another room, making sure not to catch a glimpse of Gary before the ceremony. I found a quiet spot to capture both groups without spoiling the surprise.
The ceremony was held at just the perfect time of day, with the sun setting and casting a warm glow. The floral arrangements, expertly crafted by Hilary and her team, added such a lovely touch. Gary’s reaction as Jacquie walked down the aisle was truly heartwarming, and their vows had everyone in tears.
After the ceremony, we moved on to capturing some stunning bridal party photos amidst the beautiful fall foliage. As the sun began to set, we took advantage of the golden hour and headed to the vineyard for some celebratory champagne toasts. Jacquie and Gary were absolutely radiant, and it was a joy to capture their happiness.
Now, onto the reception – and what a party it was! Jacquie had poured her heart into every detail, from the cake to the decor, and it all looked incredible. DJ Ben kept the energy high, and even Gary jumped in for a quick DJ set while Jacquie cheered him on. The dance floor was alive with joy and laughter, and it was clear that everyone was having the time of their lives. It was truly a wedding to remember!
